At the start of 2021 I decided that I would like to document my life (and Marple's!) here at Holly Tree Cottage through a series of monthly linocuts. This is May.In May, I spent a lot of time in my studio working my linocut book whilst trying out meditation to soothe my mind (I'm always the fox eared creature in my prints) Marple looked slightly perplexed as I sat still - it doesn't happen often. I was also enjoying the magnolia tree outside the studio and relishing the bluebells and tulips in the garden.

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
