La Caleta was originally a fishing village. Many of the restaurants have old photos on the walls that show it as it used to be. Nowadays there's hardly any evidence of it's busy past apart from a few boats nestled in a little bay at the end of the village. This drawing was completed in a morning during my second day in Tenerife.

This replica drawing from my sketchbook can be purchased with or without the seam of the sketchbook visible. Please select your preference.

My name is Sam,  I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I moved back to the countryside after living in London for 22 years and I now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too! 

When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
