It's inevitable if I go away with my Mum that we will find some cats during our trip. And sure enough, on the first day we came across two beautiful hotel cats. They were in brilliant condition and well fed - we could see they were well looked after. That didn't stop Mum buying food for them everyday though, and making sure there full bellies were even fuller. They were such fun to draw too - this is the tom cat - a beautiful friendly chap!

Sam Marshall

My name is Sam,  I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I moved back to the countryside after living in London for 22 years and I now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too! 

When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
